Leadership in church is one of the biggest challenges  that the church is facing because without without strong leadership, the church as a whole rarely lives out  its redemptive potentials and here at Seth O. Lartey Ministries Internal, we are aimed at ensuring that our leadership is committed to advancing the mission in ways that also enable others to make their kingdom contribution.

MRS. JACQUELINE INEZ WILLIAMS LARTEY

Mrs. Jacqueline I. Williams-Lartey was born in Elm City (Wilson County), North Carolina to the late Mr. Walter L. Williams and Mrs. Algie Elzera Evans Williams. She is the sixth child of nine children. She is a graduate of Ralph L. Fike Senior High School in Wilson, North Carolina as well as a graduate of Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina with a degree in Accounting.  Jacqueline is married to the Right Reverend Dr. Seth O. Lartey and they are the proud parents of three beautiful children, Solomon Benjamin Dorme, Alicia Elzera Amelia and Victoria Danielle Kamaria Lartey.

She served with her husband as former Missionary Supervisor of the Western West Africa Episcopal District (Liberia, North Ghana, West Ghana, East Ghana, Mid-Ghana, Togo and Cote d’ Ivoire Annual Conferences from 2012-2016 and served the Alabama-Florida Episcopal District (Alabama, Central, Cahaba, South Alabama, North Alabama, West Alabama, South Florida and Florida Conferences respectively in that capacity from 2016-2021. She currently serves as the Missionary Supervisor of the Central Southern Africa Episcopal District (South Africa, Angola, Malawai, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe). Because of her commitment and love for children, two schools in Africa have been named in her honor (Liberia and Cote d’Ivoire respectively). The work of mission and the empowerment of women are very important and take priority in all that she does. Her greatest aspiration and legacy for humankind is to establish a network of homes for orphans.

Jacqueline was enstooled as “Queen Mother” in Ghana, West Africa 2012. While in Africa she served on several boards and was a member of the Janie A. Speaks Hospital Board of Directors. Throughout her life she has been committed and involved in many organizations and boards [I.e. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Goler Institute for Development & Education Inc., [G.I.D.E.], Operation Will Power Inc., Kidz Cafe’, Bladen County Community Emergency Fund, etc.]. She has receive many honors and awards for her diligence, commitment and dedication for the many causes she has championed.

Laboring together with her husband, they are the founders of several organizations which seek to empower and give hope and directions to children. She conducted and instituted a successful tutorial program and a Summer Enrichment Program in Elizabethtown, NC (Bladen County) for several years. She served as Director for the
KITIZO Project (Catholic Social Outreach Program), Executive Director of the Educational Acceleration and Enrichment Program, Inc., Accounts Payroll & Receivables/Bookkeeper for the Greene County Enrichment Program and Financial Manager/Officer for the Bladen County Community Emergency Fund.

Jacqueline serves as Vice President of The 400 Years Celebration, Inc., (An organization established to celebrate 400 years of black achievements in the United States of American from 1619-2019); and Vice President of ZIKI International Holding Group Company, Inc. She is Executive President for the Algie & Inez Education and

Scholarship Fund.  Some major projects/accomplishments are The Prayer Network for Supervisors, The COVID-19 Missionary Mask Project and The INEZ Education Fund.  Her desire for the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church: To see the move of the Holy Spirit; thereby, becoming a true “Freedom” Church. One of the quotes that she believes is true is from the renown Mother Teresa that states, “Words which do not give the light
of Christ increase the darkness.
